(YG) Yahanseh George Nyghtstorm, a dedicated security professional, is actively involved in supporting children, at-risk families and homeless veterans through the Nyghtstorm Foundation's mentorship programs.
Known as the BODYGUARD of Georgia, YG Nyghtstorm has a long history of protecting people, built by the support of his community. After experiencing sexual assault as a child in 1985 at age 11 and facing homelessness in 1992 at age 18, YG took command of his life through the Grace of God and the love from many. He has since become a successful security professional, overseeing commercial properties valued at $1 BILLION. YG has collaborated with special forces to extract children from sex trafficking, while providing protection for single mothers and their children from gang violence.
Following his run for U.S. Congress in the 7th District of Georgia in 2022, Mr. Nyghtstorm dedicated his efforts to de-escalation in some of the hardest-hit high schools in America, grappling with violence and gang activity. His Nyghtstorm National Mentorship Program has achieved a high success rate in helping children move away from violence, fostering accountability, conflict resolution, and critical thinking. Students from 6th to 12th grade are developing better relationships with their teachers and parents.
Overcoming the tragedy of losing his twin sons in 1999 and his eldest son in 2008, this father of seven remaining adult children is passionate about protecting the VALUE of families. He believes parental REUNION is key as YG reconnects kids with their dads and trains BOTH parents for successful co-parenting. His approach emphasizes faith as a core component of reconnection, while empowering communities and enhancing the local culture. The leadership program proves effective in both schools and businesses.
Additionally, YG runs a significant program in South Florida that finds housing for homeless veterans and offers therapy for those suffering from depression, PTSD, and suicide attempts. He is dedicated to helping our heroes regain their dignity and protects the soldiers who defend our great country. His veteran program has been featured on CBS Miami for its high success rate and profound community impact.
Mr. Nyghtstorm continues this vital work by partnering with organizations, corporations, and individuals committed to supporting our military veterans, disabled heroes, families, and the community.
